The Ask

Last Night I Had a Dream was a one night exhibit at Reframe Studios. The room opened on August 29 with the work on the walls and an A list crowd in front of it.

Gallery

Two bronze figures on white plinths in front of three paintings on a gallery wall, with one guest walking out of the frame at the right.
Paintings hung down a long white wall under the exposed ducts and strip lights of the gallery.
A carved bust on a plinth beside two framed black and white photographs, with a rope stanchion at the edge of the white cyclorama.
Three carved figures on plinths in the corner of a white cyclorama room.
A corridor washed blue from uplights on the floor, with a lit doorway and two small figures at the far end.
A dark hall under the truss grid, a length of pink silk hung from the rig between two projection screens, with candles on the floor and green uplights on the walls.
Guests in silhouette crossing the dark hall toward the projection screens and the hanging silk.
The mirror ball on its motor under the steel grid, red and magenta uplights along the wall and the light spread across the floor below.
The check in table at the lit entrance after dark, guests in silhouette in the doorway and a red rope line across the steps.
The white cyclorama room with nobody in it, three carved figures on plinths spaced along the curved wall under the exposed ducts and strip lights.
A blue coupe with two white stripes over the hood parked on the bare studio floor, lit from the front with the wall dark behind it.
The projection screen on the studio wall showing a logo that reads blueground at reframe studios, with the blue coupe parked in profile below it under purple light and a beam of light across the floor.
