Asian Hall of Fame

Millennium Biltmore, Los Angeles. Produced every year since 2022.

The Ask

Asian Hall of Fame holds its induction ceremony at the Millennium Biltmore every year, and we have produced it since 2022. The brief is an awards night in the Oscars mould: a seated ballroom of more than 500 guests, a live band, a run of inductions and acceptance speeches, and a broadcast going out live to YouTube and Roku TV while the room watches it happen.

What We Built

Two large LED walls and projection mapping across the room, custom gobos on the ceiling, wireless uplights around the ballroom, and a lighting design that reads on camera and in the room at the same time. A multi camera setup feeding a live switch to YouTube and Roku, with offline capture and an edit afterward for the archive. Audio ran as a dual mixer design, a front of house mix for the room and a broadcast mix at the back, with a full stage rider for the band and an operator on every position through a three hour show.
